Tennessee Valley Coastal Trail | An Adventure with My Boys
We took this hike back in July, in the thick of our fog season. I had shared some of these on Instagram, so I wasn’t going to blog about it. Then last weekend, we hiked there again as a family, and to me, now seems even more appropriate to share these.
When I took the boys in July, it was on a Thursday morning, and there were maybe a handful of people hiking the same trail. This past weekend was a different story. I loved going back there again, but there’s something really special about discovering a new place together, and as I was uploading these pictures, it brought back all those wonderful memories.
This is what I love most about living here and this particular stage we are in right now. They are old enough to walk, but still little enough to be curious and excited.
At the end of our long hike, we found whale bones! I know, not every adventure we go on will lead to something extraordinary, but I know that both small and big discoveries will impact them in profound ways.
